What about the single-mode CREE UniqueFire S10?

…on second thought I think you should go for the UniqueFire S10 Cree 220-Lumen LED Flashlight with a single lighting mode instead of the one I wrote some time ago that has 6 lighting modes.

Besides the addition of lighting modes, both flashlights are identical so If you are looking for a small, powerful and lightweight LED flashlight for your bike, you will probably find the UniqueFire S10 with a single lighting mode better than the one with 6 lighting modes. The reason for this is that you will almost never use the 6 lighting modes (Hi > Mid > Lo > Fast Strobe > Slow Strobe > SOS) and so you will always have to go a full cycle until you get to the “simple” lighting mode one usually uses – a strong, constant beam of light.

If you are wondering what you could do with such a flashlight, take a look at the DIY article I wrote about how to create your own bicycle helmet flashlight mount.
